Before You Begin

Please have the following ready:

Your new Trezor device (Trezor Safe 3 or Trezor Model T)

The USB-C cable included in your package

A computer with an internet connection

Your Recovery Seed Card and a pen

Your Setup Journey

Step 1: Download Trezor Suite

Trezor Suite is the secure desktop and web application that allows you to manage your crypto with your Trezor device.

Download Trezor Suite App (Recommended) for the best experience, or use the web version.

Step 2: Connect Your Trezor

Connect your Trezor to your computer using the provided USB cable.

Open Trezor Suite. The app will guide you through the installation process.

Your device may need a firmware update to ensure it has the latest security features. Trezor Suite will handle this automatically.

Step 3: Create Your New Wallet

This is the most critical step for your security.

Your Trezor will generate a unique 12, 18, or 24-word recovery seed.

Write down each word in the exact order on your Recovery Seed Card.

Never digitize your seed. Avoid photos, cloud storage, or typing it anywhere except on your Trezor device itself during recovery.

Trezor Suite will then ask you to confirm the seed by selecting the correct words on your device's screen. This ensures you have written it down correctly.

✅ Your Recovery Seed is Your Wallet. If you lose your Trezor, this seed is your only way to recover your funds. Guard it with your life.

Step 4: Set a PIN

Add a layer of physical security by setting a PIN code.

Use the touchscreen (Model T) or the Suite interface (Safe 3) to create a PIN of up to 50 digits.

This PIN protects your device from unauthorized access.

Congratulations! Your Trezor is now ready to use. You can:
